  <abstract>Environmental ethics examines the relationship between human beings and nature from the moral perspective. It is also a kind of ethics arising from a concern with an earth which is on the verge of losing balance. Environmental ethics originated at the end of the 1940s. Since the 1970 great progress has been made in environmental ethics.
This book is organized in 9 chapters. The first chapter deals with basic environmental ethics concepts. This chapter discusses moral psychology and environment axiology, economics and environment and development of environmental  ethics. The second chapter discusses theories of ethics. It covers topics such as origin of environment crisis and traditional ethical theory. The third chapter narrates about constituents of the ethics. It analyses organism, species, ecosystems, value theory, Gaia theory. The fourth chapter is ecotourism. It analyses sustainable development. The fifth chapter discusses ethics ethics and environmental issues. The sixth chapter deals with social ecology and deep ecology. The seventh chapter deals with social ecology and deep ecology. The seventh chapter makes a detailed discussion on ecofeminism. The eight chapter discusses on environmental stewardship. The ninth chapter deals with environmental attitudes. It analyses the components of attitude, environmental attitude scale, environmental concern and correlates of environmental attitude.  </abstract>
