The book is about Hinduism the oldest and the most dynamic religion in the world. It is introduced in simple language with illustrations. Hindu religion is not based on a single book or dogma, it is not a creed or faith but it is an ever evolving way of good life. It has no founder. Each individual’s spiritual heritage is determined by his past karma-actions. The doctrine of karma is recognised by philosophers everywhere. The book contains 14 chapters, which deal with the Nature of Hinduism, Source of Knowledge of Hinduism and Hindu Cosmology. Next four chapters describe about the Trinity, Vedic Gods, Incarnations of Lord Vishnu, and other Gods. The forms and power of all Goddesses with their illustrations have been analysed. Planet deities and the supervisors of the days are explained. The great sages who achieved the godhood i.e. Lord Mahavira, Guru Nanak Dev and others are also dealt in the book. All symbols used in Hindu religion and evoking deities: incense sticks, Ashrama, Bhakti, Mantra, Marga, Puja etc. have been explained. Hindus are known for their ancient sciences and the book also deal with, Ayurveda, Aushadhi, Surgery, Mathematical Sciences, Astronomy, Metallurgy and Mechanics.
