പതിനഞ്ചാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൻ്റെ ആരംഭത്തിൽ രചിക്കപ്പെട്ടതും ഉണ്ണുനീലിസന്ദേശത്തോളംതന്നെ പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ളതുമായ പ്രാചീനമണിപ്രവാളകാവ്യമാണ് കോകസന്ദേശം. തൃപ്രങ്ങോട് അമ്പലക്കുളത്തിനടുത്തുനിന്ന് കൊല്ലത്തെ (ദേശിങ്ങനാട്) വീട്ടിൽ ഉറങ്ങിക്കിടന്നിരുന്ന നായികയ്ക്ക് ഒരു ചക്രവാകംവഴി സന്ദേശമയയ്ക്കുന്നതായി സ്വപ്നംകാണുകയാണ് വിരഹവ്യാകുലനായ നായകൻ. ഇടപ്പള്ളിവരെ ചെന്ന് 96-ാം പദ്യത്തിലെത്തിനിൽക്കുന്നു സന്ദേശം. ശേഷമുള്ള കാവ്യഭാഗം കിട്ടിയിട്ടില്ല. ഇതിലെ വർണ്ണനകളും ഭാഷാസ്വഭാവവും ശ്രദ്ധേയമാകുന്നു.
