The present title Pharmaceutieal Biotechnology and Drug Design has been designed for under-graduate. Post graduate, medical, biochemistry, biotechnology and those students opting Pharmacology Biotechonology as a new subject. It provides a complete, authoritative, current and readable material for the students. It also offers special features that make it useful to house officers and practicing clinicians. More emphasis has been given on discussion of drug Groups and prototypes rather than offering repetitive detail about individual drugs. Selection of the subject matter and the order of its presentation are based on the accumulated experience of Teaching this material to tuousands of medical, pharmacy, dental, nursing and other Health Science students. The present text offers a compredium of reviews of the most active areas of rerearch in biochemistry, Medicine and related Fields of Biological sciences. By intent, the chapters are not exhaustive reviews. Special attention has been given to improved and upto date methodologies and techniques which make this work indispensable for the biological Research workers.
