Summary: Book Summary of Introduction To Work Study 3 Revised Ed This highly successful international textbook on work study by the International Labour Office has been adapted by the editors to suit the needs of readers in India. While attempting this, the editors have tried to maintain the lucidity inherent in the ILO edition, and as such have tried to maintain the same framework and accordingly have reproduced verbatim from the ILO edition wherever required. Some of the chapters have been modified or rearranged so as to make their presentation more suitable for indian readers. A few examples have been changed. The major changes have been effected in Chapters 1,9 and 24. In chapter 1, the focus has been changed from " productivity and standard of living" to productivity per se. In chapter 9 various methods of determining space requirements have been redesignated as Chapter 25; in its place a new chapter 24 has been added. This chapter contains 2 integrated exercises.
